Charlotte E. Viener has been practicing as a New Orleans Immigration Lawyer since October of 1998 and has always had a passion for issues regarding immigration. She has been an active member of the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association since 1999 and has served as a liaison with the Immigration Court, USCIS (formally INS) and most recently Customs and Border Patrol (CPB). Ms. Viener has been chosen one of the Top Three Immigration Lawyers in New Orleans in both 2015 and 2016 and was awarded the the Top 100 Lawyers Award in 2015.
In 2001, Ms. Viener opened her own law practice concentrating solely in the area of Immigration Law. Her clients range from domestic and international corporations to individuals and families. She regularly handles family and employment-based applications. In addition, Ms. Viener has had great success with both 601 and 601A Waivers of Inadmissibility.
Ms. Viener also has extensive court room experience in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court. She has successfully represented thousands of clients involving cases such as asylum, cancellation of removal, and crime related deportation proceedings.
Ms. Viener received her Juris Doctor from Tulane University School of Law in 1998 and is a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, TN where she received a degree in Political Science and studied at St. John’s College in Oxford. In addition to being a member of the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association since 1999, Ms. Viener and is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association and the New Orleans Bar Association.
